Assault Attempt, Van Windows Smashed in Apparent Road Rage Attack

Panorama City, Los Angeles, CA: An apparent road rage incident unfolded when a driver of a white van was followed and attacked by suspects in an unknown vehicle.

The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 30, when the victim’s white van came to a stop at the intersection of Woodman Avenue and Cantara in the Panorama City neighborhood within the San Fernando Valley.

The suspects following the van in a vehicle, approached on foot and began using hammers to smash the windshield, driver and passenger windows, and tried to assault the solo occupant.

The victim mentioned to Los Angeles Police Department officers that he had to make two U-turns in an attempt to get away from the vehicle.

An LAPD Airship assisted in trying to locate the suspect vehicle.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the location and reported no injuries.

Both suspects fled the scene northbound on Woodman Avenue and Cantara/Lanark.

The LAPD interviewed one witness for possible description of the vehicle or suspects which was not immediately made available.
