Simi Valley Shooting Leaves 2 Victims in Critical Condition

Simi Valley, Ventura County, CA: Two males were left in critical condition after a shooting Monday night in the city of Simi Valley.

Simi Valley police officers responded to a call of gunshot victim around 9:00 p.m., May 8, on the 1300 block of Arcane Street. When officers arrived on scene, they located an unconscious male with a gunshot wound to the neck.

The Simi Valley Police Department watch commander confirmed to Key News Network that there were two victims transported to a trauma center in critical condition. Both victims were males in their 20s.

The suspect is not outstanding, according to the watch commander. There are no further details.

The incident is under active investigation. An update is expected soon from SVPD.
