Bicyclist Shot Near Taco Truck in Los Angeles Neighborhood

HIGHLAND PARK, LOS ANGELES, July 12 (KNN) — A man on a bicycle was shot near a taco truck Wednesday night at the intersection of York Boulevard and North Avenue 53.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Division officers responded to the location in the Highland Park neighborhood within Los Angeles shortly after 9:30 p.m. and found a man who had been shot in the leg near a taco truck.

According to the LAPD, the victim was approached by the suspect when the shooting occurred. The suspect then fled the scene.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported the patient to a local area hospital. The 35-year-old male Hispanic victim is reported to be in stable condition, according to the LAPD.
