Bicyclist Struck, Injured in Bakersfield Traffic Collision

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Apr. 4 (KNN) — A bicyclist was hospitalized after a collision involving a vehicle in the city of Bakersfield Wednesday evening.

Bakersfield Police Department officers responded to reports of a vehicle versus bicyclist collision shortly after 8:30 p.m. at South Real and Wilson Road.

The bicyclist was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. There are no further details at this time.
