Big Rig Crash Prompts Lane Closures on 60 Freeway in Monterey Park

MONTEREY PARK, Calif., Jan. 25 (KNN) — A Sig Alert has been issued for the westbound 60 Freeway at Markland Drive for a big rig crash over the side.

A big rig crashed shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday off the 60 Freeway and down an embankment.

The California Highway Patrol has requested a hard closure for the number four and five lanes for the next several hours.
