Big Rig Slams Into Restaurant in Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Sept. 16 (KNN) — A big rig slammed into the side of a Santa Clarita restaurant, injuring at least one person in the process.

According to CHP logs, a big rig possibly lost its brakes and came down a decline-oriented freeway off-ramp before slamming into the restaurant at approximately 3:13 p.m. Monday.

The restaurant is Chi Chi’s Pizza, located at 27117 Sierra Highway.

CHP Newhall is investigating at this time.
