PICO-UNION, LOS ANGELES, June 17 (KNN) — An early morning fire consumed a structure, damaged vehicles and threatened an apartment building in the Pico-Union neighborhood within Central Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to reports of a tree fire around 2:13 a.m. in the area of the 2200 block of West 14th Street.
When crews arrived on scene, they located a detached shed or garage fully-engulfed in flames exposing a three-story apartment building, a large tree, as well as several vehicles.
Two of the vehicles were damaged in the fire.
The fire was knocked down in approximately 45 minutes. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
