Brush Fire Erupts on 101 Freeway Off-Ramp in Studio City

STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6 (KNN) – A reported brush fire on a freeway off-ramp in Studio City Sunday evening prompted a response from the Los Angeles Fire Department.

LAFD crews and the California Highway Patrol responded to the southbound 101 Freeway off-ramp at Laurel Canyon Boulevard for a reported brush fire at approximately 8:18 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters observed heavy fire spreading up the hillside and quickly doused the flames.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
