Burglary Attempt Leaves Sherman Oaks Pet Store With Smashed Glass Door

SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 17 (KNN) — A pet store in Sherman Oaks was the target of a burglary early Thursday morning.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a reported window smash burglary in the 4500 block of Saugus Avenue around 3 a.m.

When units arrived, they found a broken glass door of a pet shop. KNN video from the scene shows a credit card reader on the floor.

It is unknown what was stolen at this time. The LAPD Van Nuys Division is investigating the incident.
