Burglary Suspect Crashes, Flees on Foot After High-Speed Vehicle Pursuit

PALMS, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 16 (KNN) — Fountain Valley Police Department officers initiated a pursuit overnight of a blue BMW suspected of being involved in a burglary out of Orange County.

The suspect led Fountain Valley PD as well as California Highway Patrol units from Orange County into the Los Angeles metro area via several freeways at speeds exceeding 130 mph.

The suspect crashed around 2 a.m. and fled on foot in the 3200 block of Kelton Avenue in the Palms neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Allied agencies were searching for the suspect after the crash.

It is currently unknown if the suspect has been located and apprehended.
