Burglary Suspects Lead Police on Chase After Encino Store Break-In; Money Left Scattered in Street

ENCINO, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7 (KNN) — Burglary suspects led Los Angeles police officers on a chase after being discovered at the scene of a store break-in overnight in Encino.

LAPD officers responded to a burglary call around 3 a.m. Wednesday, at a business located in the 108000 block of Ventura Boulevard.

When patrol units arrived, they found three vehicles with suspects that had broken into a shoe store.

A pursuit ensued, but LAPD officers lost the location of all three vehicles.

Money was observed scattered in the street in front of the store, and the front door of the business appeared to have been smashed.

It is currently unknown what other items were taken.
