Burglary Suspects Smash Front Door of Pharmacy in East Hollywood

EAST HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 12 (KNN) — Police were alerted to a burglary in progress at a pharmacy in East Hollywood overnight where the suspects’ attempt was evident.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division patrol officers responded to a call of a pharmacy burglary in progress around 2:18 a.m. Tuesday in the 5100 block of Hollywood Boulevard.

The reporting party advised 911 that three Hispanic males were using angle grinders to break into the front door of the pharmacy.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the front door to the pharmacy smashed.

Officers cleared the building, but did not locate any suspects.

The suspects fled the scene in a black Dodge Charger.

It is unclear at this time if anything was stolen from the pharmacy.
