Long Beach, Los Angeles County, CA: Two people escaped injury from a collision involving a driver in a pickup truck that rear-ended and totaled their new BMW sedan early Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported shortly before 1:30 a.m., May 16, at Pacific Coast Highway and Ximeno Avenue in the city of Long Beach.
The BMW was traveling westbound on Pacific Coast Highway when a white Chevrolet Silverado rear-ended the vehicle, causing it to rollover onto a sidewalk, knocking down a large traffic circle sign.
The pickup continued fleeing north on Lakewood Boulevard from the scene.
Multiple bystanders came to help and were seen pulling the victims out of the crashed sedan. No injuries were sustained in the crash.
