SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Aug. 30 (KNN) — A car slammed into a church in South Los Angeles early Friday morning, leaving the building damaged.
The crash occurred shortly after 2 a.m. in the 10000 block of South San Pedro Street in the Broadway-Manchester neighborhood.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and police officers from LAPD’s Southeast Division responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found that a single vehicle had crashed into a church, damaging the foundation and a fence.
The LAFD evaluated the driver of the vehicle at the scene. The driver’s condition was not immediately known.
It is unclear if this crash is related to another that occurred nearby at the intersection of Century Boulevard and San Pedro Street.
There are no further details at this time.
