CANOGA PARK, LOS ANGELES, June 17 (KNN) — An engine flew out of a car involved in a multi-vehicle traffic collision late Sunday night.
The Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles police officers responded to a multi-vehicle crash around 11:17 p.m. involving parked vehicles in the 22000 block of Roscoe Boulevard in Canoga Park.
Upon arrival, firefighters found multiple parked vehicles damaged with two victims lying on the ground with injuries. One patient was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and the condition of the second victim is unknown.
A car engine observed in the street, had ejected from one of the vehicle’s engine bays during the crash. Additional debris from the vehicle was scattered throughout the street.
A witness who spoke briefly with KNN on camera, said he had heard the crash and after discovering injured people at the scene, called 911.
The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
