Car Shooting in Central Los Angeles Leaves Driver Injured, Hospitalized

PICO-UNION, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (KNN) — A man was shot while inside his vehicle in the Pico-Union neighborhood within Central Los Angeles early Monday morning.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division units reported that they were with a male suffering from a gunshot wound at the 7-Eleven at the intersection of South Hoover Street and West Washington Boulevard.

The victim was driving his vehicle nearby when a Hispanic male in another vehicle shot at him.

The victim proceeded to drive to the 7-Eleven to call for help.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported him in unknown condition to a local hospital.

The shooting occurred somewhere in LAPD’s Olympic Division.
