Caught on Camera: Cyclist Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Lancaster

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A traffic collision involving a cyclist struck by a commercial van that fled the scene was caught on camera at a Lancaster intersection Wednesday afternoon.

At exactly 2:32 p.m., Nov. 9, 911 operators received a call regarding a traffic collision involving a cyclist.

Arriving deputies discovered a cyclist with minor face injuries had been struck by a Frontier business van at the intersection of Beech Avenue and Lancaster Boulevard which is right across the street from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in the city of Lancaster.

The commercial van took off southbound on Beech Avenue.

First responders from Station 33 arrived at the scene and treated the cyclist, however, he declined to be transported to a hospital.

No further details are available at this time.
