VERMONT-SLAUSON, LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7 (KNN) — California Highway Patrol South Los Angeles Area officers were advised of a wrong-way driver in the area of the 105 and 110 Freeway early Saturday morning.
The driver was traveling northbound in southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway in the Vermont-Slauson area of Los Angeles.
CHP officers utilized a spike strip to render the vehicle inoperable as it traveled in the express lanes of the 110 near Slauson.
The suspect continued driving north for a short distance and eventually stopped at the center divider. Officers took the suspect into custody and towed the vehicle from the location.
No details regarding the suspect were available at the time of the incident other than it was a male driver.
