Chinatown Shooting Leaves 1 Wounded, Transported to Hospital

CHINATOWN, LOS ANGELES, Apr. 8 (KNN) — A person was found shot in the Chinatown neighborhood of Los Angeles late Sunday night.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division patrol units responded to a shooting victim just after 11 p.m. in front of a business in the 700 block of West Cesar E Chavez Avenue.

When officers arrived on scene, they located the victim with at least one gunshot wound.

The patient was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

There is no suspect description available at this time.
