CHP Patrol Officer Involved in Rollover Crash in Agoura Hills

AGOURA HILLS, Calif., Mar. 13 (KNN) — A California Highway Patrol officer in West Valley reported being involved in a rollover crash after driving onto a flooded roadway, according to initial information.

The officer indicated he was uncertain of his location but mentioned that he had rolled his patrol car down an embankment and was trapped inside.

An additional CHP unit responded to the scene and discovered a CHP Ford Explorer lying on its side. The responding officer successfully extricated the trapped officer from the vehicle.

A CHP spokesperson told Key News Network that the details of the crash are unknown at this time. However, CHP confirmed that no other vehicles were involved and that the officer did not sustain any injuries.

The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of the northbound 101 Freeway and Kanan Road in Agoura Hills.
