CHP Pursuit Ends in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Whittier

WHITTIER, Calif., Dec. 2 (KNN) – A California Highway Patrol pursuit ended in a crash involving at least four vehicles on the northbound 605 Freeway at the Slauson Avenue off-ramp late Sunday night.

The incident occurred after CHP pursued a suspect for reasons that remain unknown. The crash resulted in at least two people being transported to a hospital with unknown injuries, one being a suspect. Two suspects were taken into custody at the scene.

Los Angeles County Fire Department crews were on the scene. According to initial reports, the crash was reported at 9:53 p.m.
