CHP Pursuit of Motorcycle on 10 Freeway Ends in Bassett

BASSETT, Calif., May 21 (KNN) — A motorcyclist was taken into custody overnight after leading the California Highway Patrol on a chase that ended in the city of Bassett.

Just after midnight, the CHP attempted a traffic stop on a motorcycle westbound on the 10 Freeway at Vincent Avenue in the city of West Covina.

The motorcyclist refused to stop and a pursuit ensued. The suspect exited the freeway at Puente Avenue in the city of Baldwin Park and continued to lead officers in a chase.

He was eventually taken into custody by CHP in the city of Bassett. It is not known at this time why the suspect fled from officers.

There is no further information at this time.
