San Bernardino, CA: Six occupants in a sedan were trapped and injured after a collision involving a semi-truck just before midnight Friday in the city of San Bernardino.
At approximately 11:59 p.m., Dec. 16, San Bernardino County Fire Department was dispatched to a traffic collision requiring extrication at the intersection of I Street and Mill.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a Dodge Charger with occupants inside, fully trapped under a semi-truck.
SBCFD rescued the six occupants from the vehicle using extrication tools and transported all patients to two different local area hospitals in varying conditions.
The uninjured driver of the semi privately shared that the driver of the Dodge Charger ran the red light and wedged himself under the semi-truck after colliding.
San Bernardino City Police Department remained at the scene investigating the incident.
