Exposition Park, Los Angeles, CA: An SUV with bullet holes in the windshield was involved in a collision with a palm tree early Friday morning in the Exposition Park area of Los Angeles. However, a victim could not be located.
The traffic collision, which was initially reported at 3:36 a.m., Feb. 17, involved a dark colored SUV into a tree near the intersection of State and Figueroa which Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Division officers located upon arrival.
There were also calls for shots fired in the area of Jefferson and Figueroa, which is just north of the collision location.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded as well and was unable to locate a victim.
LAPD officers from Southwest were contacting local area hospitals looking for a victim in this incident.
Three bullet holes were apparent in the windshield of the SUV seen in Key News video from the location.
The incident occurred just south of the USC campus. The initial shooting location is still unknown at this time.
