Daytime Stabbing Leaves Man Injured at Metro Station in North Hollywood

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, July 24 (KNN) — A man was injured in a stabbing Wednesday afternoon at the Metro Red Line Station in North Hollywood.

Los Angeles police officers along with personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a stabbing around 2 p.m. in the area of Chandler Boulevard and Lankershim.

One adult male stabbing victim was found at the location, according to Officer Trezes, spokesperson for the LAPD. An ambulance request was made and the victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. Trezes did not have an update on the condition of the male victim at this time.

Blood was observed on a low concrete wall surrounding a tree outside the station.

Trezes told KNN that the suspect is still outstanding (as of Wednesday night) and the circumstances surrounding the stabbing is currently unknown.
