ROWLAND HEIGHTS, Calif., Oct. 2 (KNN) — A homicide investigation is underway into the shooting death of a victim at a motel early Wednesday morning.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies from the Walnut station and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to a gunshot victim at Motel 6 in the 18900 block of Labin Court and South Nogales Street in the city of Rowland Heights.
Firefighters and paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. It is unknown at this time if the victim was shot inside a motel room or outside.
The LASD does not have a description of the suspect(s) at this time. Sheriff’s deputies waited for a manager to arrive at the scene so they could examine video from security cameras.
The investigation is ongoing.
