Singer Aaron Carter Found Deceased in Lancaster Home

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to an 11:00 a.m. call for a person down at a residence on the 42500 block of Valley Vista Drive in the city of Lancaster on Saturday, Nov. 5. The home is owned by singer/actor Aaron Carter.

When Deputies arrived, they located a male subject unresponsive in an upstairs portion of the home. Shortly thereafter, Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

TMZ, along with multiple media outlets reported the deceased male was Aaron Carter.

Sheriff’s Homicide investigators were on the scene. The cause of the singer’s death has not yet been determined.

Lt. Daniel Vizcarra with the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau was interviewed later at the scene and said a rescue call was received from the location. The house-sitter found a male in the bathroom bathtub unresponsive. The house-sitter was instructed to start CPR on the male.

Vizcarra confirmed that upon arrival of deputies and fire personnel, the male was pronounced dead on scene.

According to various online sources, Carter was 34 years old. He was the younger brother of Nick Carter of the American group “Backstreet Boys.”

At a very young age, Carter began his music career by securing a recording contract and releasing a number of albums that gained him fame.

He was also an actor with TV appearances that included Lizzie McGuire (2001), Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1996) and 7th Heaven (1996). His first lead role was in Popstar (2005), according to IMDb.
