Deputy Found Shot at Sheriff’s Temple Station Transported to Hospital; Investigation Underway

TEMPLE CITY, Calif., Feb. 10 (KNN) — Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Temple Station located one of their deputies suffering from a gunshot wound at the station just before 10 p.m. Friday.

The deputy was transported to Los Angeles General Medical Center in Boyle Heights.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 8800 block of East Las Tunas Drive and transported the deputy to a trauma center. The deputy’s condition was unknown at time of transport.

Multiple sheriff deputies along with the California Highway Patrol, shut down traffic to escort the deputy to Los Angeles General Medical Center.

Details regarding the shooting are unknown at this time. No other information has been released during the ongoing initial investigation.
