Deputy Involved in 2-Vehicle Traffic Collision

Commerce, Los Angeles County, CA: A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy was involved in a traffic collision with another vehicle early Monday morning.

The East Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Station received a backup request for a deputy-involved traffic collision on East Washington Boulevard and Telegraph Road in the city of Commerce around 12:50 am., Mar. 27.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and transported one patient to a local hospital with unknown injures.

The deputy’s vehicle sustained front end damage and the other vehicle was observed with damage to the passenger side and hood.

It was not immediately known if the deputy was injured and transported to a local hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
