West Covina, Los Angeles County, CA: West Covina Police Department and West Covina Fire Department responded to two reported gunshot victims at the Walnut Ridge apartment complex on the 3400 block of South Sentous Avenue in the city of West Covina around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located two male adult victims with one victim inside a vehicle on the driver side who was pronounced deceased at the scene by firefighters and paramedics.
West Covina Police Department reported a second victim at the scene was transported to a local hospital but did not survive.
The suspect reportedly fled in an unknown direction wearing dark clothing armed with a handgun.
A homeowner who was inside his residence at the time of the shooting, told Key News Network that he heard a total of 10 gunshots – seven shots, then three more.
