SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Sept. 28 (KNN) — A motorist was pronounced deceased after their Chevrolet Corvette crashed into a wall at a Santa Clarita fueling station.
The incident was first reported to 911 operators shortly before 9:30 a.m. as a traffic collision in the 23500 block of Newhall Avenue, west of Sierra Highway, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.
CPR was performed on the motorist following the crash. The driver was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies were at the scene with the body and vehicle as of 1:15 p.m. for the investigation into the cause.
