Driver ‘Doing Donuts’ Slams Mustang Into Pole in Downtown L.A.

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 (KNN) – A driver allegedly doing donuts in a Downtown Los Angeles intersection wrecked a mustang after colliding with a pole.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the intersection of 7th and Mateo Streets shortly after 3 a.m. Friday, for a reported solo vehicle crash with a party trapped.

When crews arrived on scene, they located an orange Mustang that had sideswiped a traffic signal pole, narrowly missing a building.

The driver had self-extricated and was evaluated on scene by LAFD firefighter/paramedics.

A witness stated the driver was doing donuts prior to crashing.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Traffic Division is handling the crash investigation.
