Driver Ejected, Killed in Rollover Crash in Montclair

MONTCLAIR, Calif., Nov. 26 (KNN) — A driver was killed when ejected from a vehicle during a rollover crash in Montclair early Tuesday morning.

The Montclair Police Department and Montclair Fire Department received a call shortly after 2 a.m. regarding a rollover traffic collision at Mission Boulevard and Pipeline Avenue in the city of Montclair.

Once officers and firefighters arrived on the scene, they located a white pickup truck that flipped multiple times, ejecting the driver and trapping them underneath the truck.

Firefighters and paramedics pronounced the driver deceased at the scene. It is unknown if speed or alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Montclair PD had all westbound lanes of Mission Boulevard closed as they investigated the fatal incident.
