Driver Extricated After Crashing Into Parked Cars in Simi Valley

SIMI VALLEY, Calif., Dec. 15 (KNN) — A driver became trapped and in need of rescue after crashing into parked vehicles in Simi Valley Saturday evening.

Simi Valley police officers and Ventura County firefighters responded to reports of a traffic collision shortly before 9 p.m. in the 2400 block of Cochran Street.

When first responders arrived, they located a vehicle on its side with the driver still inside.

The older driver was extricated from the vehicle, treated, and released at the scene by emergency personnel.

Two parked vehicles also sustained damage as a result of the collision.

There are no further details at this time.
