Driver Flees From Fiery Crash Into Building

EAST LOS ANGELES, July 15 (KNN) — An unoccupied pickup truck was found on fire into a building in East Los Angeles overnight.

East Los Angeles California Highway Patrol officers and Los Angeles County firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle into a structure shortly before 12:30 a.m. Saturday, in the area of South Atlantic Boulevard and Union Pacific Avenue.

First responders found a pickup truck partially into a building on fire. Crews had the fire knocked down in approximately 30 minutes.

The driver of the truck fled the scene prior to the arrival of authorities.

No other injuries reported.
