Driver Injured After Crashing Into Garage Wall

Newhall, Santa Clarita, CA: A driver was injured after slamming into an outside garage wall Friday night in the Newhall neighborhood of Santa Clarita.

Santa Clarita Sheriff’s deputies, the Los Angeles County Fire Department and AMR ambulance responded to a crash around 8:52 p.m., May 12, involving a driver who was reportedly driving at a high rate of speed exiting a driveway before crashing into a garage wall on Costa Brava and Valle Del Oro.

Arriving deputies pulled the driver out of the vehicle, who was unresponsive until around two minutes later when paramedics arrived at the scene.

The solo injured occupant was transported by ambulance in unknown condition to a nearby hospital.

Deputies are investigating the incident.
