Driver Slams into 4 Parked Vehicles in North Hills

North Hills, Los Angeles, CA: A driver suffered injuries in a crash involving four parked vehicles Sunday night in the North Hills neighborhood within the San Fernando Valley region of the city of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department and Devonshire Police officers responded to a traffic collision involving one person trapped on the 9700 block of Haskell Avenue at approximately 10:05 p.m., Nov. 13.

Per witnesses at the scene, the fire department was able to free the solo occupant in the Toyota Tacoma and mentioned he fell asleep while driving.

The driver slammed into four parked vehicles with a van taking the brunt of the collision. The front end of the driver’s vehicle was completely destroyed as well as the back end of the van. Vehicles parked in front of the van all sustained varying degrees of damage.

The driver was transported by ambulance to Holy Cross hospital by LAFD paramedics due to head injuries.

The Los Angeles Police Department had northbound lanes shut down for an unknown duration of time.
