Driver Trapped After Crashing on Freeway Interchange in Sherman Oaks

SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15 (KNN) — A single vehicle crashed off the roadway of a freeway interchange in Sherman Oaks, leaving the driver trapped and in need of rescue.

The California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle crash at the southbound Interstate 405 to southbound 101 Freeway interchange around 2:16 a.m. Friday

Upon arrival, first responders found one individual trapped inside a vehicle on the embankment into bushes. Firefighters freed the patient, who was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

The incident remains under investigation.
