Driver Trapped After Rollover Crash Involving 2 Parked Vehicles in Van Nuys

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 17 (KNN) — A senior citizen was trapped inside her rolled over vehicle after colliding with two parked cars late Sunday evening in Van Nuys.

The collision occurred at approximately 8:46 p.m. in the 7400 block of North Woodman Avenue in the northbound lanes.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and requested additional resources to the location for the trapped victim.

LAFD Truck 89 arrived and was able to use their hydraulic spreaders and cutters to remove the roof from the victim’s vehicle.

The driver was extricated and then transported to a local area hospital by LAFD paramedics. Her condition is unknown at this time.
