SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Jan. 22 (KNN) — A driver was rescued by firefighters after being trapped in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Santa Clarita late Monday morning.
California Highway Patrol officers and Los Angeles County firefighters responded to an overturned gray Toyota with a driver trapped inside around 11:37 a.m. on San Francisquito Canyon Road, just north of Lowridge Place. Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department also responded and assisted with traffic for fire department personnel.
The driver was freed by firefighters and declined medical transportation to a hospital. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
Both lanes were briefly blocked for a tow truck and a fire department vehicle to clear the scene.
CHP is investigating the crash.
