Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, CA: The aftermath of a two-vehicle traffic collision left both drivers of each vehicle trapped, with one pronounced dead at the scene and the other rescued by firefighters.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to reports of a traffic collision with two people trapped around 11:34 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, on the 20500 block of Victory Boulevard in front of Pierce College in the Woodland Hills neighborhood within the San Fernando Valley.
When firefighters arrived, they determined one patient was beyond medical help. They began to extricate a patient from the other vehicle who was then transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division is investigating the collision.
