Eucalyptus Tree Brush Fire Burns Close to Mobile Home Park

Ventura, CA: Ventura City Fire crews responded to reports of a brush fire around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the barranca just west of Kimball Park, north of Telephone Road.

When crews arrived on scene, they found heavy fire in a row of eucalyptus trees with a heavy ember cast blowing toward a mobile home park.

The fire was contained to approximately 1/4 acre in size with no mobile homes threatened.
