Eucalyptus Tree Burns Behind Home Depot in Oxnard

OXNARD, VENTURA COUNTY, June 20 (KNN) – A burning eucalyptus tree prompted a response from the Oxnard City Fire Department early Tuesday morning.

Oxnard City Fire crews responded to the 400 block of West Esplanade Drive to find the eucalyptus tree on fire behind the Home Depot at the location.

As crews were arriving, the ember cast was falling onto product on pallets to the rear of the Home Depot.

The fire was extinguished in just a few minutes.

The cause is unknown at this time.
