Rosemead, Los Angeles County, CA: Baldwin Park California Highway Patrol officers were in pursuit of a vehicle early Wednesday morning for a failure to yield traffic infraction.

The pursuit began just before 1:00 a.m., Mar. 29, in the city of Pomona and ended in the city of Rosemead on the 60 Freeway and San Gabriel Avenue after officers employed a spike strip to disable the vehicle.
CHP fired a non-lethal round at the vehicle in an attempt to coerce the driver to exit the sedan.
The suspect gave up shortly after and was taken into custody by officers.
