Fatal Stabbing of Victim Outside Metro Station Under Investigation

Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA: A person was found stabbed to death outside a Metro station late Sunday night prompting a homicide investigation.

The stabbing was reported around 10:45 p.m., June 4, at 1st and Hill Streets in front of the Civic Center/Grand Park Metro Station in Downtown Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department and police officers responded to the reported stabbing. LAFD personnel determined, upon arrival, that the victim of the stabbing was beyond medical help.

It was unclear if the stabbing took place on a bus or in the subway station.

No suspect details were immediately available. LAPD is handling the investigation.
