Fiery Crash Leaves Church Damaged in South Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (KNN) — A vehicle struck a church during a rollover crash involving fire early Sunday morning.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to reports of an auto rollover in the 1400 block of West Adams Boulevard in the Adams-Normandie neighborhood of South Los Angeles at 2:49 a.m.

When crews arrived, they located a vehicle on its side with the engine on fire at the front entrance of the First AME Zion Church.

According to bystanders off-camera, the female driver was helped out of the vehicle. She was transported to the hospital by LAFD paramedics.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Division is handling the investigation into the cause of the crash.
