Fire Consumes Vehicle on 5 Freeway in Sylmar

SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES, Apr. 1 (KNN) — A vehicle erupted into flames on the 5 Freeway at Roxford Street in the area of Sylmar early Monday morning.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the burning vehicle shortly before 1 a.m. and quickly extinguished the blaze.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the California Highway Patrol. No injuries were reported.
