Firefighters Battle Brush Flames in Chatsworth

CHATSWORTH, LOS ANGELES, July 24 (KNN) — A brush fire erupted in Chatsworth late Monday night prompting a response of support from other departments for the Los Angeles Fire Department crews on scene.

The fire was reported around 11:51 p.m. Monday on the 11500 block of North Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Chatsworth, however, the LAFD noted the address is tentative.

The brush fire was reported to be at approximately one-half acre initially, with townhomes being threatened, according to the LAFD.

Automatic aid brush responses are also coming from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Ventura County FD, reported the LAFD.

There has been no further updates from the department as of very early Tuesday morning.
