SIMI VALLEY, CA, Aug. 10 (KNN) — A Ferrari was found on fire in Simi Valley Thursday evening reportedly due to a mechanical issue.
Simi Valley police officers responded to reports of a crash with fire shortly after 6 p.m. on Flanagan Drive just west of Kachina Way.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a Ferrari on fire up against a tree.
The driver of the Ferrari told officers he experienced some kind of mechanical failure and the car caught fire. While the car was on fire, it rolled backwards into a tree.
