Firefighters Douse Flames in Hollywood Apartment

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 13 (KNN) — Flames erupted inside one unit within an apartment building in Hollywood early Wednesday morning.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 2:45 a.m. on the 7200 block of West Hollywood Boulevard.

Arriving firefighters found a two-story, garden-style apartment building with fire showing from one unit, according to the LAFD.

The fire was extinguished in 22 minutes with 26 firefighters at the scene, reported the LAFD.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
